We continue to highlight art from deaf artist Eboni Love-Peel. We hope you will attend the Deaf
Celebration in Southfield, MI, and support the many deaf/hard-of-hearing entrepreneurs and support
organizations that will be there. This event happens every 2 years and is a fantastic experience.

Download our email newsletter to see the full bio of Eboni (Eragon) Love-Peel.
Eboni Latifah Love-Peel, also known as Dragon, is a 34-year-old Deaf artist and Taekwondo practitioner. She was born in Detroit, Michigan, and graduated from the Model Secondary School for the Deaf (MSSD) in Washington, D.C. Eboni was introduced to art at age five when her mom’s friend took her to her art gallery, located downstairs from her clothing design studio in downtown Detroit.
Her love for art grew as she used it to communicate with her family. In high school, her science teacher, impressed by her artistic talent, asked her to paint a science mural on the school wall. She was then asked to create the sports team logo in the school gym, and she began designing her graphic art characters for her stories. She displays her artistic and creative skills in flower planters, benches, shelving units, T-shirts, photography murals, and more. She now attends Gallaudet University as an English major and an Art Studio minor.
We have been showcasing some of her new art pieces over the past three months. This month, you can start purchasing original canvases, wood pieces, printed posters, cards, and journals from the website. I am told that at the event, there may be T-shirts with her artwork available for sale. Her previous pieces, which are on the Silent Art tab, are only sold as posters and cards; all original pieces have been sold. The Body Butter sold by Just Jameen will also be available for purchase and can be ordered that day at the show at a discount!

"Waikiki Melon" and "Basil, Sage, and Mint "
The scents of the month for September are "Waikiki Melon" and "Basil, Sage, and Mint"
Just Jameen Products' scent "Waikiki Melon" is described as a scent captured with notes of juicy melon, orange, banana, and honeydew flower on a background of green twigs and musk.
Just Jameen Products scent “Basil Sage & Mint” is described as herbal notes of basil, sage, and mint that are elevated with jasmine and bright citrus to create an uplifting "Zen" vibe.
These scents would be wonderful in a candle, but also try them in our creamy shea, frappe, or body butter. Try them in our bath gel and soap as well. The scents of the month will be available until September 30, 2025..
